Deck Rails

Deck rails (also known as slide rails) are plastic strips mounted on the underside of your deck to protect your board’s graphic and help it slide smoother on rails, ledges, and coping. They’re a classic piece of hardware that adds both style and function — keeping your deck artwork fresh while improving control during slides and grabs.

Skatan Tip:
Install your rails evenly along the deck’s edge, about an inch from the sides. Pair them with wax for longer slides and smoother grinds.

When to Use or Replace:
If you love doing board slides, blunts, or grabs, deck rails are a must. Replace them when they’re worn flat, cracked, or no longer sit flush against your deck.
